The Project
Alsager School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Alsager in Cheshire
The Installation
The existing Junckers timber floor had been damaged through water ingression. We were asked to put forward a proposal for sprung floor that was durable and easy to maintain. We proposed a Instacoustic cradle and batten system with a 6.2 mm Gerflor multi use surface. We were asked to remove all the wall bars and climbing frames along with the basketball backboards . We decomisioned the radiators and removed them from the walls
Project outcome
The area is going to be used for dance and drama. A great transformation making the hall look much bigger and brighter
